Loading... Loading...Meerut nursing college is situated in the mulayam singh yadav medical college campus Lalpur, Meerut. It is beautiful and more attractive campus. College have been the facilities such as well furnished lecture theaters, well stocked libraries with access e-journals, advance computer labs, modern and well equipped laboratories, Multi purpose hall and recreation facilities provide distinct advantage in creation and dissemination of knowledge.
College should be have 8 class rooms with the capacity of accommodating the number of students admitted in each class. The rooms should be well ventilated with proper lighting system. There should be green boards and also there should be student chair with writing board, dais , big table and chair for the teacher and racks/cupboards for keeping aids or any other equipment needed for conduct of classes.
College should have following departments.

4. Child Health Nursing/Pediatric Nursing
5. Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing.
1. Nursing Foundation Laboratory
This lab is situated in the ground floor of college building. Its well equipped and well furnished lab.There should be demonstration beds with dummies, mannequins in proportion to the number of students practicing a nursing procedure at a given point of time. It should be fully equipped with built in cupboards and racks, wash basin with running water supply, electric fitting, adequate furniture like table ,chairs, patient lockers, footsteps etc. sufficient necessary inventory article should be there. Lab registers are maintaining in the lab such as inventory register, issue register, utilization register for faculty and students. These registers are maintaining by lab in charge.
2. Community Practice Lab
This lab is also situated in the second floor of the college building. It should have all required articles needed for practicing nursing procedure in community set up such as community bag/Home visiting bag with instruments, Charts, flexes students chairs etc.This lab is also having the facility of water and electricity. Lab registers are also maintaining the lab such as inventory register, issue register, utilization register for the students and the faculties. These registers are maintaining by Lab in charge.
3. Nutrition Lab
This lab is situated in the second floor of the college building. It should have facilities for impairing basic knowledge of various methods of cooking for the healthy as well as for the sick..This lab has the facilities of electricity, gas and water. The furnishing and equipment should include work tables cooking cutlery, trays and plate, dietetic scales, cooking utensils more than 200 kitchen utensils and also gas burner, mixer grinder, microwave, racks/shelves, refrigerator, pressure cookers, mixie and cupboard for storage food items. Sets of cutlery and crockery and cutlery preparation, napkin for serving display of food should be there. Lab registers are maintaining in the lab such as inventory register, issue register, utilization register for the students and faculties. These registers are marinating by Lab in charge.
4. OBG and Pediatric Lab
This lab is situated in the first floor of the college building. This lab is also well equipped and well furnished. This lab contains three pediatric beds and three pediatric mannequins, labor table, differerent models, charts, bed sheets, blankets, draw sheets, portable autoclaving machine, surgical and non surgical instruments are there. Lab registers are also maintaining in the lab such as inventory register, issue register, utilization register for the faculty and the students. These registers are maintaining by Lab.
5. Pre-clinical science lab
This lab is also situated in the second floor of the college building. It is the laboratory of Biochemistry anatomy and microbiology. This lab is containing different types of models of eye, ear, nose, skin, pelvis, skeleton of adult and pediatric, charts and microbiology lab items such as conical flask, test tubes, microscopes, and reagents etc.Lab registers such as inventory register, issue register are maintain by lab in charge.
6. Advance Nursing Skill Lab
This lab is situated in the first floor of the college building. There should be simulators used to teach, practice and learn advance skills. Eg- administration of tube feeding, tracheostomy, gastrostomy etc. I/V injection, BLS, Newborn resuscitation model etc. the lab should have computers, internet connection; monitor used in critical care units.
7. Computer lab
Computer lab is situated in the first floor of the college building. This lab is facilitated with wifi and 20 Computers. This lab is more spacious and useful for the students. Lab registers such as inventory register, utilization register for the students and faculty, issue registers are maintaining by Lab in charge.
8. Audio Visual Room
This room should have proper and safe storage of all the Audio-Visual Aids. This room containing 3 LCD projectors, 3-OHPs, one TV, One computer, Flip charts, Posters etc. lab registers such as inventory register, and issue registers are maintaining by lab in charge. AV aids room is helpful for the faculty for the teaching. This room should have the facilities for proper and safe storage of these articles and equipments like cupboards, built in shelves, racks, cabinets, furniture items like tables, chairs. This room should be properly lighted and well- ventilated.
Our college library was established in the year 2017. it is situated in on the third floor. This library has more than 500 books and 4 journals books, 3 kinds of magazines, 2 kinds of news papers and other kind of current health related literature. There should be provision of catalogue cabinets, racks of student’s bags etc. book display racks, bulletin boards and stationary items like index cards, borrower’s cards, label and registers. The books and other reading materials are issued to the students for reading area from issue counter. The library is equipped with fire alarm control panel and manually operated fire extinguisher. Approximately 100 students and teachers visit the library. The register is maintained for the issuing the books from the library.
It can be utilized for hosting functions of the college, educational conferences/ workshops. CNE examinations etc. it should have proper stage with proper stage with green room facilities. It should be well-ventilated and have proper lighting system. There should be arrangements for the use of all kinds of basic and advanced audio-visual aids.
Our college has two hostels in its campus -1 for boys and 1- for girl. The hostel rooms are spacious, clean and well maintained with attached bathrooms. The rooms are available on sharing spaces. Each room is furnished with beds, wrdobes, study tables and chairs. Every floor should have facility for drying and ironing clothes. Water purifier and water coolers are installed to provide portable water. Round the clock power back up helps students to students without interruption. Spacious mess hall is situated in the ground floor. Around 50 students can sit at a time.
Adequate provision for extinguishing fire should be available as per local bye-laws.
It should be spacious for outdoor sports like volleyball, football, badminton and for athletics.
College should have separate transport facility under the control for the principal. 25 Seater bus is available for students.
